legislative information / CIS DAY AT THE CAPITOL

CIS Day is an annual half-day event designed to create awareness among state legislators about the work of CIS.  Executive Directors (EDs) and guests attend from around the state.  It’s also intended to give EDs a forum to better educate their legislators about CIS so that they can continue to gain legislators’ support for local CIS initiatives.

 

This year, CIS Day at the Capitol will be held on Thursday, March 13 from 2:30 p.m.- 3:30 p.m. If you would like to hear student, parent, and local CIS board member's testimonials, please join us at the Coverdell Legislative Office Building (CLOB), Room 406. The building address is 244 Washington Street SW, Atlanta, GA 30334- directly across from the Capitol.
