Denise Wright
Regional Program Director
Denise Wright has worked in youth development for the past 19 years and staff development for 8 years. She made Communities In Schools her professional home in 2005 as Assistant Site Coordinator, then worked her up to Senior Program Manager during her tenure at Communities In Schools of Atlanta. In October of 2019 Denise became a part of the CISGA family, continuing to provide supervision and support to school-based staff in various affiliates, and also entered the world of grant management. She creates great relationships with those close and afar to ensure they shine in their work. Denise is a graduate of Clark Atlanta University.

“I am excited to be a Site Coordinator at Stockbridge High School as it affords me the opportunity to assist young people during one of the most challenging, educational, and exciting times of their life. I am a transplant from the State of Connecticut and enjoy living in the ever-evolving State of Georgia. Prior to moving to Georgia, I was employed for twenty years in the field of addiction services with twenty of those years being a Correctional Substance Abuse Counselor.”

I attended Clayton State University with a major in Middle Grades Education and currently attending The University of Georgia for a Master’s in Education Administration with a Tier 1 certification. I am a coach, father, and a huge advocate for our youth.”

Ms. Diamond Gray earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Georgia and is a Court Appointed Special Advocate for Children.
