In the FY2024 school year, the Georgia Communities In Schools network expanded into nine new communities. CIS of Georgia was invited by local school districts in Newton and Rockdale Counties to provide CIS Model services this year.

In partnership with Georgia DOE’s Office of Rural Education and Innovation (REI), we expanded our reach in rural communities, serving students from 6 new school districts: Emanuel County, Mitchell County, Morgan County, Randolph County, Sumter County and Terrell County.
