“My name is Kencheta and my son’s name is Hayden. Hayden has been a part of Communities In Schools in Dooly County for 1 year. Mr. Earl Clark is the Site Coordinator. Truly Mr. Clark has been a blessing to me and my son. Through this program, my son has a mentor that is involved with him in and out of school. Mr. Clark attends Hayden’s recreation department games weekly. Mr. Clark has helped me out in so many ways with my son.
My frequent calls from his teachers with not so positive behavior concerns have gone to minimum! He is the calming force when my son needs a outlet.
My son’s grades have improved and he constantly talks about the group sessions Mr. Clark has, making it fun to learn. Mr. Clark communicates with teachers and holds Hayden accountable for his actions as well.
Me and my son love Mr. Clark and all that he does for him. Communities in Schools is indeed a great program to have!
