My storm is over.

I’ve loved, laughed and lost.
Those nights I cried myself to sleep, CIS was there.
During my stormy nights and rainy days, CIS never left my side.
CIS was my shoulder, my dairy and my best friend.
My storm is over.
As I reflect on my life, I realize that faith is believing that God told you the truth; even when it didn’t look or seem like it. I have faith in CIS.
When I felt like all hope was gone, and that I was crawling into the darkest moments in my life, CIS held my hand tight and walked me into the light.
Now that my storm is over I finally see, and know, what it feels like to risk everything and still survive.
When I was standing on the battlefield and all the pain was real, that’s when I realized that we must’ve done something right; because I never felt so alive.
Now that my storm is over I ask myself these questions: “who were you”, “who are you” and “who will you be”.
I ask myself “do you believe that these CIS people are different?” I answer myself, “Yes; because they have helped me to recognize where I came from and where I want to go; now that my storm is over.
