Ms. Williams, my CIS site coordinator, and I met at specials time. We met on the same day every week. She asked my teacher if she could get me at this time, and she said, “Yes, you may.” We went to another room to meet.
She was a big help to pull up my SRI reading test scores. We read passages and on my SRI score last year I made 691, and this year, I made 959. She really helped me understand and express how characters in stories feel by letting me role play them. I’m a much better reader now. Ever since I read with Ms. Williams, I’ve gotten better and better. Now I love it. She made me feel really happy because she helped me understand more of what I read. Already this year I’ve gone up three points on my report card grade. Ms. Williams, you were a very big help. You got me to fourth grade!
