Recently, Communities In Schools of Georgia was recognized at the inaugural presentation of the U .S. Attorney’s Office Community Outreach Awards. These awards are intended to recognize individuals and community partners who have been exceptionally supportive of the U.S. Attorney’s Office community outreach programs over the past two years. In addition, this office partnered with CIS on our Student Achievement Month program. Nominations were accepted from the U.S. Attorney’s Office Community Outreach team and final recipients were selected from a slate of worthy candidates. CIS staff were recognized for their contributions to the Straight Talk Student Forum and Student Achievement Month initiatives.
